HUB’s principles of cooperation & teamwork
Who is it for?
The Creative Glastonbury Pop-Up Shop is designed for independent makers, artists, and small business owners who want to turn their passion into a sustainable full-time business. It’s the perfect opportunity for those looking to grow their brand, test the waters of retail, and reach new customers in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The Concept
Traders get Two full days in Glastonbury at just £15 per table. This allows them you to, experiment with retail presentations, and gain real-world insights into how Your business might thrive in a storefront setting.
Promotion & Advertising
We take care of the initial event promotion by creating and marketing the pop-up on social media. Banners, signs, and other promotional materials are provided for traders to use. However, success is a shared effort—traders are encouraged to actively promote their presence, engage customers, and work together to create a buzz around the event.
While The Tor Collective organizes and advertises the pop-up, the true impact comes from traders working as a team to draw in customers, share the experience, and make the event a success.
Collaboration & Community
Teamwork is essential. Traders are expected to support each other—whether it’s covering a stall while someone takes a break, helping with sales, or taking turns directing foot traffic from the high street.
- A kitchen is available onsite for refreshments, but it must be left clean and tidy by the end of Sunday.
- Traders often work in shifts to attract passersby from the high street, bringing more customers into the space.
- If a trader needs to step away, others can help by processing sales or provide information to interested shoppers.
It’s all about cooperation, positivity, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both traders and visitors.
Products & Ethical Standards
We encourage traders to sell handmade or self-designed products. However, reselling is allowed as long as suppliers follow ethical business practices—meaning no High-volume, low-cost online marketplaces disruptors like Temu, Shein, or similar mass-production brands. We believe in responsible retailing and expect traders to align with these values.
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to a successful event!
